Guests can enjoy swimming in the lake and listening to the loons calling nearby. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with excellent beds and a view of the lake from the window. the bathroom is spacious and modern, with a large bathtub and a separate shower. the host, Thérèse, is incredibly helpful and welcoming, providing information about the area and going above and beyond to make guests feel at home. the breakfast is delicious, with homemade jams and pâté.
One slight drawback is that the handheld shower in the bathroom may be a bit inconvenient for some guests.

Therese, our host, was incredibly helpful and provided us with valuable information about the area. The bedroom was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. We also loved the fact that our room had a beautiful view of the lake. Another advantage was the reliable wifi connection, which allowed us to stay connected throughout our stay.
Although the bathroom was spacious, it only had a handheld shower above the bathtub, which made it a bit challenging to wash our hair. Additionally, our bed was comfortable but quite creaky, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

I recently stayed at Le Gite De La Renarde for a hiking trip. Thérèse, the host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The gîte is situated on a peaceful lake where we got to swim alongside loons just a hundred feet away. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. Thérèse even provided us with supper and a packed lunch for our hike, and drove us back to the trail. It was a joy to have her join us for dinner on her deck overlooking the lake. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the lake. The bathroom was spacious and had a modern shower and a large bathtub. The wifi worked flawlessly during our stay. it was a wonderful experience with interesting conversations and stunning sunset views.
I do recommend this hotel.
